Cornfield Cliffe is a supported housing project based in Darwen. It is based in a six bedroom Victorian house and offers 24 hour support to young homeless people aged 16 to 24. Each young person has their own en-suite room with a shared kitchen, communal lounge and a training / activity room.
All resident are assigned a support worker who works with them to produce an action plan with agreed outcomes which are reviewed at approx 1, 6 and 12 month intervals to help them move forward to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Staff provide support with life skills, including budgeting, cooking, health, education, training & employment and help with filling in forms. Regular sexual health sessions are run by Brook.
Cornfield Cliffe accepts referrals from Youth Offending Teams (YOT) and the local authority Housing Needs section.
